This fringed tulip is called "Fabio". It's a two-toned tulip in shades of bright orange and yellow. Looking down into it reminds me of a Venus fly trap. The picture was taken in the Skagit valley of western Washington, which is known for its tulip fields. I used two textures to create this look, both from 2 Lil Owls: Gypsy 11 and Faded Crinkle 11.
I've always been interested in art. I started with pastels and watercolors, moved on to photography, and have recently discovered the creative joys of computer art.
