As I was scrabbling to get a good picture of the geese alongside a man-made lake, this Chinese goose looked at me like I had called to him in particular.
The Chinese goose is a breed of domesticated goose descended from the wild swan goose. They have often strongly developed basal knobs on the upper side of the bill. It is more prominent on males than females.
I've always been interested in art. I started with pastels and watercolors, moved on to photography, and have recently discovered the creative joys of computer art. I live in a small town forty miles northeast of Seattle, where the country meets city and the living is relaxed. I love to travel and gain experiences and inspiration from the many countries I have visited, that are reflected in my work. I have won awards for my photography and fractal art and continually strive to improve my skills, always looking forward to the next adventure.
